Peru couldn’t get any stops during the third quarter and was down 23-50 going into the 4th quarter. Peru won the 4th quarter, but fell to Tippecanoe Valley 62-42. They moved to 8-11 on the season. Boys Basketball: Peru took the long trip to Warsaw for a matchup with the Tigers. Warsaw had the first quarter advantage, leading 9-16. Peru battled back during the 2nd quarter, keeping up but still being down by a score of 24-29. Warsaw got ahead during the 3rd quarter and led going into the 4th quarter 37-47. Peru couldn’t make a comeback and fell to Warsaw 52-62. #0 Ian Potts led the Tigers with 16 points, a steal, and a rebound. #11 Matthew Roettger had 15 points, 8 rebounds, and an assist and a steal. #5 Alex Ross had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. #2 Gavin Eldridge had 8 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist, and a steal. #3 Braxten Robbins had 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. #12 Bryce Hill only accumulated a foul, and #10 Reis Bellar did not accumulate any stats.
